Mauricio Pochettino has given his press conference ahead of the match with Chelsea on Saturday.
Unsurprisingly there was plenty of talk about the loss to Monaco in the Champions League in midweek and the challenges caused when trying to get results in two high-quality competitions.
Pochettino revealed that the club would continue to play at Wembley if they qualify for the Europa League, as it would help the team get used to playing at the national stadium ahead of next season.
Also on the agenda was the tensions between the two clubs and Pochettino’s team selection for Saturday. Toby Alderweireld, Ben Davies and Erik Lamela are still injured, while Danny Rose is suspended. The manager claimed that he had three options to play at left-back and spoke about the recent formation changes that he has made.
