When CSKA Moscow opened the scoring after Tottenham had missed three sitters, it looked like Spurs’ Wembley hoodoo was set to continue.
The visitors took the lead with their first shot, which was made even more frustrating by the fact Christian Eriksen and Delle Alli had missed excellent chances in the opening stages.
But it didn’t take long for the hosts to draw level. Eriksen found room on the right and delivered a perfect cross for Alli, who took the ball down and curled it into the far corner with ease.

Spurs then took the lead just before half time, Harry Kane tapping in a Danny Rose cross after more good work from Eriksen.
