At times it looked uncertain, but in the end Tottenham eased to a 3-0 victory over lowly Hull City at White Hart Lane.
Christian Eriksen opened the scoring inside 15 minutes after good work by Danny Rose down the left.
Hull grew in confidence and came closest to equalising through Jake Livermore. But Eriksen popped up again in the second half to convert a Kyle Walker cross, doubling Spurs’ lead.
Eriksen nearly completed his hat-trick when his free-kick crashed off the post, only for Victor Wanyama to tap home the rebound.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result and performance.
Eight goals in our last two home games; 3 points made up on the Gooners; Sissoko putting in a decent shift and Eriksen back on form. Lovely!

Good win, easy last half hour or so. Need the same against Burnley on Sunday – good confidence boost for many. #COYS

Width from the full backs absolutely key to breaking them down. Fantastic from the pair of them, and eriksen looks back to his best too

I mean, that was pretty much ideal in terms of the comprehensive win & getting the chance to sing the names of Dawson, Huddlestone & Mason.
