Tottenham have been drawn to play at home against Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup Fourth Round and it’s fair to say that the Buckinghamshire minnows were pretty excited at the news.

Only promoted to the professional ranks of the English pyramid in 1993, Wycombe are currently fifth in League Two.

When Wycombe were drawn out of the hat this evening to play at White Hart Lane, their forward Myles Weston posted a video on Twitter revealing their excitement at the tie.

The match will be played between the 27th and 30th of January and gives Mauricio Pochettino the perfect opportunity to field another second-string side, perhaps including more youngsters than he felt able to pick against Aston Villa.

Wycombe’s best run in the FA Cup came back in 2000-01, when they reached the semi-final against Liverpool.

  1. In our manager at wycombe wanderers, we have a gaffer who has the highest respect for the fa cup, he knows and understands what it means to the club, it’s finances and wycombe fans, and I can assure you, he won’t be resting any players for this game, and he won’t come to White Hart lane looking for a draw either, he will try and win it, it’s the only way he knows,
