Mauricio Pochettino has given his press conference ahead of Tottenham’s match with West Brom.
With Spurs kicking off the Premier League schedule this weekend, the team have the chance to cut the gap at the top of the table to four points and Pochettino was questioned about the opportunity to put pressure on Chelsea.
Also on the agenda was the form and future of Dele Alli, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid. Pochettino poured scorn on the idea that Alli could be given a new contract any time soon.
Erik Lamela was another player under the spotlight, with Pochettino being quizzed on the player’s fitness.
