Spurs ran out as 4-0 winners over West Brom yesterday and their players past and present were quick to react to the victory on Twitter.
In what was perhaps the finest performance of the season from Mauricio Pochettino’s team, Tottenham could have easily won by an even bigger margin, against a Baggies side that are currently flying high in the Premier League.
A Harry Kane hat-trick and an own goal from West Brom’s Gareth McAuley was enough to give Spurs a comprehensive victory. Here’s how players reacted to a win that moved Tottenham up to second place.
That's how to start a weekend! Brilliant team performance and congrats on the hat-trick @HKane. Hope @JanVertonghen's injury isn't too bad pic.twitter.com/AYiropfBZS
