The so-called “magic of the FA Cup” was alive and well in the first half at White Hart Lane, where fourth tier Wycombe Wanderers had taken a 2-0 lead against high-flying Tottenham.
But Spurs, ever the spoil-sports, dragged themselves back in with a chance after half time with two quick-fire goals.

Substitute Vincent Janssen won a penalty moments later. The Dutchman stepped up himself to put the hosts level.
