The dust has settled on Tottenham’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool and it’s time for you to give your player ratings.
It was one of Spurs’ worst performances of the season, with the defence pushing far too high up and allowing Sadio Mane acres of space to exploit with his pace.
Mane scored two goals in quick succession in the first-half, with both being avoidable. Toby Alderweireld made a rare mistake to allow Liverpool to capitalise for the first goal, before Erik Dier made a terrible error for the second.
It was a day when many of Tottenham’s players saw their standards slip, with Hugo Lloris’s distribution and the passing of Victor Wanyama causing the team problems.
Further forward Harry Kane was starved of service, while Heung Min-Son often threatened, only for his finishing to let him down.

got to blame Poch for this one tactics awful why change 3 at the back when we play away its the best system for the way we play it should not matter if we are home or away its a grass pitch no more no less our players should be able to perform anywhere IF they are as good as they think they are P/S i think Poch hung Davies out to dry that was disgusting not fair on any player who is asked to stand in now and again
Time to offload those that can’t give us the class we need to push on. Davies is not up to it and the bench is weaker than ever! Why on earth did we let Chadli go and waste shit loads of money on another knee jerk buy like Sissoko? If we still had Chadli, Sigurdson and a couple of decent defenders as back up we’d be in with a shout. Not sure what’s gone on with Wimmer but it looks like the relationship is over to me. Dier in the centre of defence is painful to watch!
