The Star reports Tottenham are interested in signing Sampdoria midfielder Karol Linetty this summer, but could face competition from Everton.
The 22-year-old joined the Serie A side at the beginning of the season from Polish club Lech Poznan for around £3 million. There is no suggestion of a price tag, but it’s likely he’s available on the cheap if Spurs are genuinely interested.
Linetty has provided four assists in 22 appearances this term. The video below from his days in Poland shows a player with two good feet, a quick turn of pace and an eye for goal. Those attributes, coupled with his age and potential, could mean Linetty fits the bill as a Mauricio Pochettino target.
