Tottenham made the perfect start to their Premier League encounter with Stoke City at White Hart Lane, and it was all thanks to Harry Kane.
The striker’s low, drilled shot nestled in the bottom corner inside 15 minutes to give the hosts a deserved lead. It was the striker 100th club career goal.
Kane looked fitter and sharper than he had for weeks, and appeared to have a point to prove after missing multiple chances against Gent.
He scored his second — even better than the first — from outside the box.

Kane then completed his hat-trick before half-time with a deflected free-kick.
