The majority of Tottenham fans are more than happy with the job Mauricio Pochettino is currently doing at the club, and the Argentine is expected to stay with Spurs for the foreseeable future.
But with Barcelona looking for a new manager this summer, Pochettino would find it hard to turn down the La Liga giants if approached.
Reports in Italy suggest Tottenham are monitoring the situation of Roma manager Luciano Spalletti, who is also a target for Arsenal.
There’s a good chance Arsene Wenger will leave Arsenal at the end of the season, and Spalletti is rumoured to be of interest to Spurs’ North London rivals.
Spalletti is thought to be in talks with Roma about a new contract, but those discussions could break down if there is an approach from Arsenal.
Alternatively, if Barcelona approached Pochettino, Tottenham could do battle with Arsenal for Spalletti’s services.
Of course, this is all speculation at this point. There’s a good chance all three managers mentioned will still be with their current clubs come next season.
Spurs needn’t worry about Pochettino’s future for now.
