When Harry Kane damaged his ankle ligaments against Sunderland in September last year he was absent for the next seven weeks of action, missing ten games.
Tottenham’s talisman returned for the North London derby in early November and scored an equaliser from the penalty spot in a 1-1 draw.
And it looks like Kane might make yet another timely return. The club claims his fresh ankle injury is less severe than last time, meaning he should miss less than seven weeks. And who do Spurs face in seven weeks? That’s right — Arsenal.

The injury is similar to the one suffered by the forward against Sunderland in Sept last year, however it is not considered to be as severe. pic.twitter.com/WyRU3JcON7

Harry will continue to be assessed by our medical staff while he undergoes his rehabilitation at our Training Centre.

Unfortunately Kane will almost certainly miss the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea at Wembley, which takes place in just under five weeks.
If Tottenham get through that, they will hope Kane returns for the business end of the season with Mauricio Pochettino’s side fighting for a trophy and a top four finish.
For now, Spurs will put their faith in Heung-Min Son’s goalscoring ability while Vincent Janssen remains in reserve.
Always come back stronger from injuries and will be working hard with the medical staff to do that again. Thanks for all the messages. pic.twitter.com/zGYQhw8IaB
