Dele Alli wasn’t able to continue his fine goalscoring form as England lost 1-0 to Germany in Dortmund.
The Tottenham midfielder has scored in each of his last four club appearances, but Alli perhaps should have found the net when he found himself through on goal in the first half.
That didn’t stop the 20-year-old from earning plaudits, despite failing to get on the scoresheet.
Midway through the first half, Alli found himself trapped out on the right wing. He tricked his way out by skilfully sliding the ball in between two Germany players. You can watch Alli’s hijinks below.
