Tottenham are yet to trigger any agreement that would see the club play at Wembley instead of White Hart Lane next season, but talks are set to place concerning the potential capacity for future matches played at the home of the England national team.

The Independent reports Spurs are set for a crunch meeting with Brent Council on Thursday evening. The discussions will concern whether the club can play up to 27 ‘home’ games in front of a 90,000 Wembley capacity next season.

The story suggests the current rules would allow Tottenham to play only have five games at full capacity at Wembley. If all goes well, Spurs should be playing in their brand new, purpose-built stadium at the beginning of the 2018/19 campaign.
