Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for Georges-Kevin N’Koudou this summer, according to The Sun.

The newspaper’s sources aren’t always the most reliable, but Spurs fans wouldn’t be surprised to see N’Koudou leave after failing to impress in his first season in England.

N’Koudou has played just 36 minutes of Premier League football since joining from Marseille for £9.5 million last summer.

The winger was brought in as a replacement for Clinton N’Jie, who went the other way on loan — another attacking player from Ligue 1 who failed to make an impression in England.

N’Koudou is yet to play a full 90 minutes in any competition for Tottenham and has failed to score a single goal for the club.

Spurs are likely to make a loss on the 21-year-old. Hopefully the club has learned a lesson when it comes to recruiting unproven players from France.

Tottenham’s recruitment policy is set for big changes after the appointment of new chief scout Steve Hitchen following the departure of recruitment head Paul Mitchell.

  1. So why did we buy him? Why did we buy N’jie? Which Spurs scout felt these guys were worth the £20+ million quid and the dick-dance getting them in before the end of the summer deadline? The same scout presumably that thought Sissoko was worth £30M. We have wasted money on some real donkeys over the past few seasons with most of them already shipped out or nearing the exit. Thank goodness for Wanyama.
