Tottenham have confirmed midfielder Harry Winks will miss the remainder of the season after suffering ankle ligament damage against Burnley at the weekend.
The midfielder appeared to be in serious pain after an innocuous challenge on Burnley defender Stephen Ward just before half-time at Turf Moor.
Winks was replaced by Mousa Dembele, and Spurs went on to win the game 2-0. But Mauricio Pochettino seemed unhappy with the potential verdict on Winks’ injury.
Yesterday the club officially confirmed Winks won’t play again this season. Here’s how Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter.
