Tottenham thrashed Watford 4-0 at White Hart Lane to keep their dream of winning the Premier League title alive.
The hosts struggled to make a breakthrough in the opening 30 minutes, but Dele Alli’s stunning opener settled the nerves and Spurs didn’t look back from there.
Eric Dier and Heung-Min Son added excellent goals before the break, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side effectively wrapped up all three points before half-time.
Son added another ten minutes into the second half to pile the misery on Watford. In more good news, Harry Kane returned from injury and played the final half hour.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result and performance.
Four excellent goals and Kane back on the pitch = happy days. Job done for the weekend, now we we wait ? #COYS

40 – Dele Alli (40) has had a hand in as many PL goals before turning 21 as Lampard (15), Gerrard (13) & Beckham (12) combined. Star. pic.twitter.com/fWzi2Crd2Y

Trïppïer's approach play has improved so much from get-to-byline-hoof-in-a-hopeful-cross days. Another example of Poch's ability to coach.

Really have to respect Kieran Trippier. Never complains about being 2nd choice to Walker and every time he steps in for him he plays class.

Initially thought Trippier motm was ridiculous, but I'm changing my mind watching the replays back. He was outstanding ??????
