Dele Alli scored his 16th Premier League goal of the season against Watford at the weekend. That’s as many as Sergio Aguero and two more than Eden Hazard.
The midfielder, who is bound to win the PFA Young Player of the Year award for a second successive season, turns 21 today — a staggering reminder of Alli’s impact at such a young age.
Now an England regular as well as one of Tottenham’s key men, Alli is expected to become one of the best players in Europe. Spurs fans will be desperate for the club to do everything possible to keep him.
