Tottenham will be up against a familiar face next season when they face Chris Hughton’s newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion.

Huddersfield Town’s draw at Derby County on Monday evening sealed a place in the Premier League for Brighton. Former Spurs player and coach Hughton watched the game with family, friends and colleagues, and made a speech once the Seagulls’ promotion was confirmed.

He said: “I’m just hoping that our first game is here at the Amex [Brighton’s stadium], preferably against Tottenham.”

“And hopefully that will be the winners of the Championship against the winners of the Premier League.”

Here’s hoping, Chris. Here’s hoping. You can watch the full video below.

Mr. Nasty to suceed in the football business.
Congrats Chris , great achievement, you thoroughly deserve every success you achieve

  2. A nice gesture at the end of he’s video clip. Someone who’s always been in some capacity in football a Spurs man at heart. And a black manager and why he’s still in the game ?? Because he’s good at he’s job , nothing to do with racism or other black managers or can’t it be there just notgood enough , at that time. It’s about realism. If your good enough. That’s why Chris was appointed at Brighton
Good luck in the prem to you and your family
