Tottenham travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League this evening, and Mauricio Pochettino has made two changes to the Tottenham side that lost against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.
Both changes concern the wing-back positions: Ben Davies replaces Heung-Min Son on the left and Kyle Walker is in for Kieran Trippier on the right.
Hugo Lloris captains the side behind what looks like a back three of Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen. Victor Wanyama partners Mousa Dembele in central midfield.
Unsurprisingly, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli will play behind Harry Kane. The trio proved to be Spurs’ most influential players against Chelsea despite the scoreline — Kane and Alli got on the end of Eriksen’s deliveries to score the two goals.
Son is perhaps unfortunate to miss out, but someone has to be sacrificed if Tottenham are to deploy their preferred 3-4-2-1 formation.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to all the team news.

No Son..I'm ok with that on the road to start out, need to be physical and stalwart, bring him on to run at a tired defense.

This is the team we should've played in the FA Cup but oh well. Let's win tonight.

Can be no argument of Pochettino having 'one-eye' on the NLD versus Arsenal on Sunday, opts to go with strongest possible team. #COYS#THFC

Call me crazy, but I would be happy to bench Lloris and bring Pau Lopez on in his place. Please don’t have a go but I think we should sell Lloris this summer transfer window and profit from him. IMO he is only average. Like many top league keepers he has some spectacular saves but then you would expect this from your keepers. What he is really poor at is saving penalties. Penalties are difficult, I know, but he must have the worst penalty save ratio in the league. The free kick goal he gave up to Willian recently seems typical of Lloris. His movement behind the wall or his lack of positional understanding has chipped away at my patience. I am fed up with watching, this keeper making the basic mistakes a lower division keeper would make. He has been lauded as perhaps the second best keeper in the Premier League but I feel he has had the benefit of having the best defensive wall in front of him, saving him from further errors. So long as he works for Spurs I will always shout my support for him but really I wouldn’t mind if we sold him.
U rather have cech ???
Lloris is one of the best in world football any top team will love to have him
One more think u r right ur crazy
One of the best in the world!!!???Your a total plank!!! Sell him,he is definitely not as good as people make out.Only looks decent because of the best defence in the league-2 years running!
I would rather have Pat Jennings in goal than Lloris.
