Tottenham kept up the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea with a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening.
After an uneventful first half, Mauricio Pochettino made two changes at half-time and Spurs were much improved after the break.
The visitors missed a good chance to take the lead through Dele Alli, but that didn’t matter when the ball fell to Christian Eriksen 25 yards from goal with 12 minutes left.
The Dane smashed the ball past Wayne Hennessey in the Palace goal to secure all three points for Tottenham. Here’s how the players — past and present — reacted on Twitter.
