Tottenham have announced that an application to increase the capacity of the new stadium has been approved by Haringey Council.
As as result, 61,559 fans will be able sit in the new ground with the council allowing seating to be increased in several areas.
Significantly, 500 seats will be added to the single-tier South stand, which will now seat 17,500 spectators.
When complete, Spurs’ new home will be the largest club ground in London, edging out Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.
You can watch the latest time lapse of the new stadium’s construction in the video below.
How does it keep changing, the seating area is not getting larger! are the seats being put in getting smaller or tighter together just to get a few more fans in? This would be a shame after the long wait for the stadium, think of the fans for once please!
