Galatasaray are interested in signing Vincent Janssen this summer, according to reports in Holland and Turkey.
Janssen has endured a difficult first season in England since joining Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar last summer. The striker has scored just twice in the Premier League and has struggled to break into the starting eleven.
According to reports from his native Netherlands, Janssen is wanted by Galatasaray. Dutch outlet Soccer News claims the Turkish giants are willing to pay £17 million for his services.
That means Spurs would make the majority of their money back on the Dutchman, who joined for around £18 million.
On top of that, Turkish publication Ajansspor also suggest Galatasaray hold a firm interest in signing Janssen.
Many Tottenham have been hugely disappointed by Janssen, particularly because he was expected to challenge for Harry Kane’s place in the side, or partner the talisman up front.
Instead the 22-year-old has failed to reach the standards set by Spurs’ free-scoring attackers. Still, some believe he should be given another year to prove himself in England.
