Earlier this week, The Sun reported that Tottenham’s £8 million bid for Turkish winger Cengiz Under had been accepted by Instanbul Basaksehir.
The story cited reports in Turkey that claimed Spurs had struck a deal for the 19-year-old after lengthy talks with his current club, and that Tottenham had pipped Manchester United to the signing of Under.
But now, further reports from Turkey suggest Spurs are yet to agree a fee for the player dubbed the ‘Turkish Dybala’.
TurksVoetbal claims Basaksehir want between £10 and £13 million for Under, as opposed to the £8 million cited in The Sun’s story. Tottenham will apparently only get their man if they increase their current offer.
