Keita Balde has turned down the chance to join Tottenham despite Lazio accepting a fee in excess of £26 million, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Il Messaggero claims Spurs have had a bid of between £26.4 million and £30.8 million accepted for the winger, who scored 16 goals and assisted six in 34 appearances for Lazio last season.
But the 22-year-old has apparently rejected a transfer to Tottenham as he holds out hope for a move to Serie A champions Juventus.
I find it very hard to believe Spurs would make such a big offer for a player with just 12 months remaining on his current contract. You can watch all of Keita’s goals from last season below.
