Serie A champions Juventus will visit Wembley to play Tottenham in a pre-season friendly on August 5th, according to reports in Italy.
Spurs will play their home games in every competition at Wembley for at least one season before moving to the new purpose-built stadium in North London.
Juventus visited West Ham’s Olympic Stadium for a friendly at the beginning of last season, and it appears they’ve been picked for yet another opening ceremony of sorts.
The match will take place just a day before the Community Shield final, which Tottenham would have played in had Chelsea won the double.
Spurs won just one match at Wembley last season: the 3-1 victory against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
