Earlier this month, we relayed reports claiming Tottenham had given up their pursuit of Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez, deciding to focus their efforts on his teammate Demarai Gray instead.
The winger is believed to be unsettled at the King Power Stadium after failing to make a big impression under current manager Craig Shakespeare.
Apparently Gray has a £22 million release clause which Spurs aren’t willing to meet. But negotiations are bound to happen if the interest is real.
The 20-year-old is currently playing a starring role for England at the Under-21s European Championships. He scored the opener against Poland yesterday. You can watch the goal below.
