Bournemouth striker Josh King is unsure about a move to Tottenham because he doesn’t want to play second fiddle to Harry Kane, according to The Mirror.
The striker, who scored 16 goals for Bournemouth last season, is also wanted by Everton.
Despite the chance to play Champions League football for Spurs, King apparently doubts his chances of playing regularly for the Londoners because of Kane’s stature at the club.
The 25-year-old would have more of a chance to play first team football at Everton, but by snubbing Tottenham he would be giving up the opportunity to play in the Champions League.
Romelu Lukaku is set to leave Goodison Park in the coming weeks, meaning King would have the chance to nail down a place in Everton’s starting eleven if he were to join Ronald Koeman’s side.
That said, the Toffees have just signed striker Sandro Ramirez and are also believed to interested in Wayne Rooney and Olivier Giroud, meaning there could be even more competition for places than at Tottenham.
