Tottenham have made a move to sign Monaco centre-back Kamil Glik, according to reports in the player’s native Poland.

Glik was a key part of the Monaco side that won the Ligue 1 title and reached the Champions League semi-finals last season.

According to Sport.pl, Spurs have made an attempt to prevent Glik from signing a new deal at Monaco by offering the 29-year-old a contract of their own.

The terms Tottenham are offering are said to be worth around £67,000-a-week. However, the reports suggests Glik is not interested in a move to Spurs.

The Poland international scored eight times in 53 appearances last season. His best goal came in the Champions League against Bayern Leverkusen.
