Tottenham are close to agreeing a deal to sign Argentine defender Juan Foyth, according to multiple reports.
A number of outlets, including Sky Sports, are claiming Foyth is set to join Spurs for around £8 million.
But The Times suggests the completion of the transfer could depend on whether Tottenham are willing to agree to two clauses.
Foyth’s current club Estudiantes want the 19-year-old to return on a six-month loan. They also want to include a sell-on clause in the deal.
Those clauses shouldn’t be too much of an issue unless someone at Spurs is unwilling to agree to them.
Below you can watch a video of Foyth’s individual highlights for Argentina Under-20s against England last month.
He will not have so much time on the ball to make passes and the forwards will so much more aggressive. Let’s wish him well and see if Pochetino can really make him a star.
