Mauricio Pochettino selected arguably his best side. Injuries to Victor Wanyama and Heung-Min Son gave Moussa Sissoko an unexpected start in attacking midfield.
And Sissoko played his part in the build-up to the opening goal.
The Frenchman found full-back Kieran Trippier down the right, who provided a trademark cross into Harry Kane’s path — you know what happens next.
