Tottenham have had a bid for Anthony Martial rejected by Manchester United, according to reports in France.
The news comes by way of French outlet RMC Sport, who report Manchester United have turned down an official approach from Spurs.
The Independent claims Tottenham have denied making a bid for Martial, but there is genuine interest in signing the 21-year-old.
Spurs first showed an interest in the Frenchman back in the summer of 2015. Apparently the player’s wage demands were too high and Manchester United swooped for him instead.
Martial was on the scoresheet in United’s 4-0 win over West Ham on Sunday. He started on the bench, suggesting Jose Mourinho doesn’t see him as one of his key attackers.
