Tottenham are expected to refuse any advances from Chelsea to sign Danny Rose, according to The London Evening Standard.
In a controversial interview last week, Rose criticised Spurs for not showing what he deems to be enough ambition in the transfer market.
The left-back also suggested he could be earning a better salary elsewhere.
The Evening Standard claims Chelsea would be prepared to almost double Rose’s £65,000-a-week wages, offering him a weekly salary of around £120,000.
But the report suggests Tottenham are “not expected to entertain offers” from Chelsea for the 27-year-old.
Spurs’ other left-back, Ben Davies, was on the scoresheet in the 2-0 win at Newcastle on Sunday.
