Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth will fly to London to complete a transfer to Tottenham on Tuesday, according to reports in the player’s native Argentina.
Spurs have been chasing the 19-year-old all summer, but at one point it looked like he was on his way to Paris-Saint Germain.
However, Foyth reportedly had doubts about his first team chances at PSG. As a result, Tottenham have emerged as favourites to sign him.
Argentine outlet El Dia claims the deal is 90% done and that Foyth is now awaiting the green light from Estudiantes to travel to England.
He will apparently undergo a medical on Tuesday. Below you can watch Foyth’s individual highlights from the Under-20s World Cup earlier this summer.
He ll probably end up playing in midfeild doesn’t look ready for central defence,
I think so too. He’ll be converted to a midfield player. The boy can play the ball. Pretty comfortable on the ball. COYS !!!
