Tottenham have completed the signing of Argentine defender Juan Foyth from Estudiantes.
The 19-year-old will reportedly cost the club around £8-10 million. He has signed a five-year contract.

Foyth is the second centre-back Spurs have bought this summer following the arrival of record signing Davinson Sanchez from Ajax.
Kevin Wimmer joined Stoke City for £18m earlier this week, while Cameron Carter-Vickers will spend the season on loan at Championship side Sheffield United.

Foyth will provide competition for Sanchez as well as Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, although the youngster may have to be patient for his chance in the first-team.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the news.
Would you say this is… Juan Foyth of our remaining business completed? ?

Should’ve announced Aurier first so I could tweet ‘we’ve signed three players, how about a Foyth?’ You manage to mess everything up. ???

Cultured central defender who’s going to be one for the future, refused to move to PSG in desperation to work under Pochettino. #COYS#THFC https://t.co/rhZlTilj6z

#thfc Third signing in the bag. Juan Foyth is 12 days younger than Carter-Vickers so will be interesting to compare https://t.co/knx5Pwy63Q

Foyth not the most exciting signing considering what’s needed BUT another talented, young player. Good to see how eager he was to join too.

Do people really believe PSG were genuinely interested in Foyth? I don't. I think it was Levy playing games again to announce end of window.
