Tottenham travel to Cyprus to face APOEL Nicosia in the Champions League on Tuesday night aiming to make it two wins from two in Europe.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side beat Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at Wembley on matchday one, but they will be forced to make changes against the Cypriot champions.

Christian Eriksen has been ruled out through illness while Jan Vertonghen is suspended following his red card against Dortmund. Dele Alli is also still banned.

As a result, Pochettino might revert to a back four in order to accommodate some of the players who are likely to come into the side.

Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama are injured, so there’s a good chance Harry Winks will partner Eric Dier in central midfield.

I’ve got a feeling Fernando Llorente will come in for Christian Eriksen, which means Harry Kane could drop a bit deeper into a number 10 role.

At the back, Serge Aurier will almost certainly start as he will play no part against Huddersfield on Saturday following his dismissal at West Ham.

    • Do you believe in Poch and this training team? If not, fair enough. But, if so, then you can’t be trashing someone who they obviously have faith in that he will improve and contribute. I don’t believe in trashing anyone who wears our shirt? If he’s not being played like Adebayor or Kaboul’s Kabal, then wish them well on their way out. What sort of fan are you, Johnny? Support fans and players who wear our colours!
