Victor Wanyama is eyeing a return from injury in Tottenham’s clash with Liverpool at Wembley on October 22nd, according to MailOnline.
The midfielder has been out since August with a knee problem and had initially targeted a return against Real Madrid, the match before Liverpool.
But the Mail claims Wanyama now believes the clash at the Bernabeu to be too soon, with Liverpool being a more realistic date.
The Kenya international was a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s side in his debut season at Spurs last term.
And with a tough run of fixtures coming up, his return can’t come soon enough.
