Mauricio Pochettino has suggested Danny Rose could play a part in Tottenham’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
Rose has travelled to Madrid with the rest of the squad following a nine-month lay-off with a knee injury.
“I think Danny Rose will be on the bench,” Pochettino told @SpursOfficial.
“Maybe he is not fit to play from the beginning but to help the team.”
However, Pochettino later told reports that a decision is yet to be taken on Rose’s inclusion in the matchday squad.
Mousa Dembele has also travelled with the squad, which means he could either start or join Rose among the substitutes.
