Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he is optimistic Harry Kane will be available for Tottenham’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Kane limped off with a minor hamstring strain in the 4-1 win over Liverpool, missing the subsequent defeats to West Ham and Manchester United.
“With the doctors and the player, we will take the best decision for everyone,” said Pochettino. (Quotes via Sky Sports.)
“We must analyse and take the best decision for everyone.
“We will assess him and then we will make the best decision. My feeling is good. But it’s not my feeling, it’s Harry Kane’s feeling.”
If not Madrid, Kane will surely return for Spurs’ Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace at Wembley on Sunday.
