Tottenham are keeping tabs on Hoffenheim midfielder Nadiem Amiri, according to reports in Germany.
German outlet Bild claims Spurs sent scouts to assess the 21-year-old while he was playing for Germany Under-21s against Azerbaijan last week – Amiri bagged one of his country’s seven goals.
The midfielder sign a new deal with Hoffenheim in the summer, which runs until 2020.
Tottenham apparently tried to sign him last season, but Amiri chose to stay in the Bundesliga.
Red Bull Leipzig are also believed to be keen on the player, so Spurs could face a fight for his services next summer.
