Christian Eriksen has dissmissed suggestions Tottenham can’t compete in big games ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League trip to Borussia Dortmund.

Spurs have lost against Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal this season, but they’ve also beaten Dortmund, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

“We’ve shown we can compete in the big games,” said Eriksen. “Last Saturday and against Manchester United, people who have seen the games will know we had our chances. We beat Liverpool at home. We’ve had some good results.

“People need to talk and you need to write and do something. It was never win at Wembley. We never hear that anymore. So everything changes.” (Quotes via Football.London.)

Tottenham have already sealed a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League, and they will secure top spot in Group H if they beat Dortmund on Tuesday night.

We think Mauricio Pochettino will make five changes to the team that lost against Arsenal at the weekend – you can read our predicted XI here.
