Harry Kane has need named Men’s Player of the Year for 2017 by the the Football Supporters’ Federation.
A quarter of a million fans from across the country casted their votes, and the Tottenham striker came out on top of a six-man shortlist. Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne finished second.
Kane becomes the first Englishman to win the award. He tweeted: “Incredible to be recognised by fans across the country. Thank you.”
The 24-year-old has had a stellar year in front of goal, developing his all-round game to become one of the world’s best strikers.
