Barcelona are interested in signing Danny Rose and would be willing to include Jordi Alba in a deal for the Tottenham defender, according to reports in Spain.
Rose has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United since giving a controversial interview in which he appeared to criticise his current employers back in August.
Spanish outlet GOL claims Barcelona are also keen on the 27-year-old. Apparently, manager Ernesto Valverde is happy for Jordi Alba to be offered in part-exchange – Mauricio Pochettino is also thought to approve of a swap deal.
This smacks of speculative reporting to me, although I assume Spurs would prefer to sell Rose to a foreign club rather than a Premier League rival. For now, though, this one is very much just a rumour.
