Tottenham have drawn Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Spurs topped their group, finishing above Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund with more points than any other side in the competition.

Juventus were the most difficult opponent Tottenham could have drawn, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be confident of taking on the Serie A champions.

Spurs were involved in memorable games against Italian sides back in 2010/11, beating both Inter and AC Milan in the Champions League.

On top of that, Tottenham beat Juventus 2-0 in a pre-season friendly at Wembley back in August.

Here’s how the fans reacted to the draw on Twitter.

  1. There are no easy ties at this stage of the CL, but we seem to up our game against the `best`, so Spurs will have no pressure as underdogs for this round, bring it on. I can`t understand so many so called Spurs fans, commenting, “that`s it we`re out” etc. Short memories, probably the same group of `fans` who on seeing the group stage said, “that`s it, the group of death, we`re going out!” Get a grip FFS, we are the mighty Spurs !
