Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed Tottenham included recall clauses in the loan deals of Josh Onomah and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Onomah is set to spend the rest of the season on loan at Aston Villa, while Carter-Vickers is currently with Sheffield United.
But Pochettino has suggested both players could be recalled in January, telling reporters: “We have the possibility to bring them back.”
Spurs have struggled with injuries and suspensions in recent weeks – Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen are the only centre-backs available for the next two matches.
Depending on Toby Alderweireld’s recovery, there’s a chance Carter-Vickers will return to the club out of necessity. Onomah perhaps isn’t as desperately needed.
I believe Foyth could step up in Toby’s absence for the Brighton game, but he’s not ready for
the City onslaught on Saturday.
Even Dier is not ready for that!
We are gonna have to play a back 4 with defensive fullbacks and rely on the width to come from our attacking players, or play though the middle.
Gonna have to play vertonghen Davies and dier as cb then rose and tripper along side then dembele infront son Ericsson and Kane up top
