Tottenham are tracking Lille midfielder Yves Bissouma, according to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas.
Spurs are reportedly on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele, who has just 18 months left on his current contract.
The 30-year-old has struggled with injuries over the last couple of years, and as a result Tottenham apparently want to recruit a new central midfielder.
Bissouma is a 21-year-old Mali international. He has made ten Ligue 1 appearances this season and was linked with a move to Inter Milan last summer.
Spurs are also believed to be keen on Valencia’s Geoffrey Kondogbia and Lorient youngster Matteo Guendouzi.
