Tottenham and Everton have emerged as favourites to sign Cenk Tosun after holding positive talks with the Besiktas striker’s father, according to reports in Turkey.
Tosun has scored 14 goals in 26 appearances for club and country so far this season, leading to interest from another of clubs across the continent.
Turkish-Football (via talkSPORT) claims Spurs and Everton have made contact with the 26-year-old’s father and representative. Those talks apparently went well.
Tosun is believed to be keen on a move to England, but not until next summer, so I wouldn’t expect anything to materialise in January.
Joining Tottenham might depend on Fernando Llorente’s future. The Spaniard has scored just once since arriving form Swansea in the summer.
