Heung-Min Son has been named as the Korea Football Association Footballer of the Year for the third time.
The Tottenham forward has been in superb form in 2017, finishing the year by taking his goal tally up to 21 goals in all competitions last season and picking up where he left off this term.
Son has scored four goals in his last five appearances in all competitions. He has also found the net in important matches against Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool this season.
Mauricio Pochettino recently said of Son: “We gave him and will give him the credit he deserves not only because he is a good player but because he is a great professional and a great kid. He’s a lovely kid and it’s fantastic to work with him.” (Quote via Evening Standard.)
