The folks over at CIES Football Observatory have published their most recent figures valuing each Tottenham player.

Football.London have revealed the results on their website. We’ve relayed them below, and there are a few surprises.

Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen have the highest values.

Perhaps the biggest shock concerns Eric Dier, who is valued at €93.2 million. It’s particularly strange considering Danny Rose is valued at just €22.7 million.

Below is the full list. Let us know if you agree or disagree with the values in the comments.

  1. Deli Ali has always been over rated. £25 million but I’d not buy him. Dier a nice player but that’s it £30 million. Loris is poor, £10 million. Kane yet to prove himself top class outside Spurs game plan. £45 million. L’ Orente at £10 is good buy. You know what he does he can do for any team.

  2. I hope the contributors to this thread have been to the CIES website and looked at the methodology, it’s not bad. It’s not a fans’ eye view but a set of reports and statistics over players’ careers including comparisons with others. Fans’ view of transfer values will never be the same as the so called real thing. Clubs over and under pay: clubs may be desperate or just want insurance or a back up: agents may over or under squeeze: the player may actually have a choice: the player may have family members who influence a decision (this could be the “my agent is my cousin” nonsense, or it could be simply my partner and the kids don’t want to move to ). There are also instances of players going so called cheap because they are trouble wherever they go. I am not implying any of these things about any named players, just remembering that real life is somewhere behind all these headlines &c &c.
