Harry Kane is at the top of a four-man shortlist of strikers, that also includes Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, wanted by Real Madrid.
That’s according Marca. The Spanish outlet claims the European champions are keen to replace Karim Benzema this ssummer, and they have their eye on four strikers who could do the job – Kane, Sanchez, Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi and Timo Werner of RB Leipzig.
Madrid apparently want a forward who can play through the middle or out wide. Kane is definitively a centre forward, but he is still believed to top the shortlist.
Sanchez would certainly be far cheaper given he has only six months remaining on his Arsenal contract. Let’s hope Madrid bear that in mind.
